Our Packaging

We believe that in order to stay true to our mission and values, we must be fully committed to walking the walk. That is why we are extremely diligent and conscious about our packaging.

Glass Bottles

Our glass bottles come from a glass manufacturer who is eco-certified. They are fully recyclable as are the enclosed pumps. The plastic overcap is not recyclable at this time but we are working on that and we are offering a Save Face program so you, the consumer, may send these back to us along with your empty bottles so we can reuse and recycle them in house.
Please visit our Save Face page to learn more.

Shipping Boxes

Our shipping cartons are custom made for us and are FSC (Forest Stewardship Counsel) certified. They are made from 50% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. The tape we use to seal our boxes is a biodegradable cellulose tape coated with a natural rubber adhesive. It is derived from wood pulp and decomposes naturally in soil. Our eco-friendly packing peanuts are 100% natural, derived from wheat protein. They are non-toxic and 100% biodegradable. Compostable in the garden, they will break down naturally within 6 months.

Paper Products

No Trees. No Water. Just Green!
Our labels, bags, business cards, product inserts, and various other paper products we use are made from FiberStone®. It is quite simply, a tree-free, water-free durable paper made of crushed stone and is 100% recyclable.
FiberStone® paper is chlorine free, acid free, and safe for the environment. The production of FiberStone® paper products causes no air pollution, has a very low carbon footprint and uses no bleaching chemicals.
We also use non-toxic water based adhesives along with non-toxic vegetable based printing inks.
We, at face 4 humanity are always striving for the betterment of our planet. Science as we know it, is continuously finding new and improved ways, and technology is advancing every moment with regards to new material used for eco-sustainability. We do not claim to be 100% perfect, however, we will continue to research and utilize the most eco-sustainable methods as technology advances.
